Stained glass mosaics in a word: Enigmatic. Lit
naturally by the sun's rays, the mosaic changes character as
the light levels rise and fall. At night, when viewed from outside,
the mosaics are lit from within and bring any space to life.
Window mosaics can be designed to be the centre
of attention or to gently fade to the background - both provide
privacy, art and still allow natural filtered light to enter.
Lasha has developed techniques for working with
large panels of structural and tempered glass so there is no
size limit to these translucent pieces of art. The mosaics can
also be applied directly to modern windows prior to the window
being installed, thereby taking advantage of the insulating
factor in higher r-value manufactured windows.
